Nando was born in Zurich in 1992. He has been a trained graphic designer since 2012. In 2018 he completed his studies in illustration fiction at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. At the beginning of 2019, his first graphic novel "Drei Väter" was published by Edition Moderne in Zurich, for which he was awarded the Swiss Children's and Young People's Book Prize, among others. Between 2019 and 2020 he lived and worked in Ghent, Belgium, where he simultaneously obtained his Masters in Fine Arts in Illustration at the LUCA University of the Arts. He has been back in his hometown of Zurich since the end of 2020 and works as a freelance illustrator and comic author.
