We are a design duo from Zurich. We explore the intersection between nature and design in our design products, which include limited edition prints, card sets, notebooks and art books. We let ourselves be inspired by nature and its phenomena. In extensive research, we investigate the origin and cultural significance of these phenomena and then implement the results visually. A poetically subtle imagery is characteristic of Bienvenue Studios.

We incorporate the perspective of our origins into our design process. While Oliver Hischier grew up in the middle of the Valais Alps, Xiaoqun Wu comes from Shanghai, one of the largest cities in the world. This allows us to look at natural phenomena and design from different perspectives.
