Artist: Stefan Scherrer

For Toggenburg-born Stefan Scherrer, drawing is a passion that has accompanied him through life since he was a child. During his training as a structural draftsman, he internalized the exact recording of geometric bodies and thus trained his spatial thinking. In order to further open his horizons, he applied to the Zurich University of the Arts ZHdK at the age of 23 to become a scientific illustrator. In doing so, he discovered his love for capturing organic forms through drawing and his enthusiasm for scientific topics. In order to bring everything together, the creative thinker delved into digital information design and has since worked as a freelance illustrator who devotes his life to research, learning and observation with a lot of passion and curiosity. For Transhelvetica he brought courageous scaredy-cats to posters. stefan-scherrer.ch
