With this carpet, Bern is at the feet of young and old and nothing stands in the way of their first big adventures.

The material type of the carpet was selected so that the central requirements of a play carpet are well met: The surface structure of the carpet is very fine, so that all the details of the illustrations are clearly visible. At the same time, vehicles can do their laps easily on the surface, which is not too fluffy. The carpet also offers a solid base to complement the cityscape with your own block buildings. The play mat is made of high-quality polyamide and can be easily cleaned so that entire parts of the city don't suddenly disappear forever under a layer of dirt.

My name is Selina Röseler – I live in the heart of Bern and work as an interaction designer.

The Bern children's play carpet is a project of the heart that has been repeatedly modified and developed. In collaboration with a specialized printing company from Germany, the idea has now become reality.

Through this website, the first Bernese children's play rug is carried beyond the borders of our children's room and shipped from Bern to the rest of Switzerland.
