You can find more from Sam Steiner here .

We teamed up for a spring collaboration. We are the graphic designer Sam Steiner and the sock designer Thomas Jakobson.

The result are two fresh socks with a pattern by Sam Steiner.

One pair of socks is fancy and almost hallucinating. The calmer, simple pair in lovely pink goes well with it. Of course, the black accent color is also there. The socks can be worn as a pair or crossed and are designed to really spice up your outfit. Whether you're through now

Walk through the old town of Bern or stroll along the lake promenade in Lucerne. Your style will truly blow the socks off of those around you.

The colored socks are manufactured in a sock factory in eastern Germany. The organic cotton comes from Remei AG, which has been responsible for BioRe cotton for more than 20 years.

The flat chain seam over the toes and the defined toe and heel areas make the socks particularly comfortable to wear. The Lycra content guarantees elasticity, so that the socks fit well even after several washes.

COMPOSITION:

- 80% BioRe cotton

- 18% polyamide

- 2% elastane/lycra

Sam is a graphic designer who lives and works in Lucerne.

Since completing his Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication in Graphic Design at the Lucerne University of Design and Art, he has worked for various clients from the cultural scene, such as the Kulturkeller Winkel, the Treibhaus Lucerne and the Neubad network. He is also a member of the art collective Cultural Consumers. He was also an intern at the Dynamo youth culture center in Zurich, where he mainly dealt with risograph and screen printing. He also imparts this knowledge in various workshops, including at ETH Zurich.

Significant features of his work are reduced colors, playful shapes, balanced layouts and clean typography. This creative attitude is evident in all of his self-printed posters, which are available here.
