Collage, framed, hand signed, unique

including individual hand-signed card with Polaroid

approx. 40 x 50 cm

2020

“Last summer, due to a personal event, I had a lot of time to devote to my creative processes. I was in District 6, Zurich, all summer long, and through my numerous walks I collected a lot of print media that people put on the streets. This resulted in a colorful collection of different newspapers, magazines, flyers and other things. This formed the basis for my works, the so-called collages, which gave rise to my project Gholasch. I am involved in upcycling, where I transform previously "worthless" materials into "valuable" objects (you can find my interview with Dynamo, November 2019).

Through this upcycling I would like to draw attention to our consumer society by showing that materials that were previously valuable can become valuable again. Gholasch is a critical project and encourages critical thinking, but brings joy and pleasure into every four walls through its appealing colors and constellations.”
