Hilda, a witch without a broom and Melusina, a princess without a kingdom,
lead a happy life together in the heart of the forest. One day a strange discovery throws their lives into disarray: they find a huge egg! The two friends initially disagree about what to do with their find. But when the shell breaks open, their argument is quickly forgotten: a magnificent, fire-breathing dragon girl hatches and keeps them both on their toes!
An ecological fairy tale full of humor and action

"Hilda, Melusina and the Dragon Egg" is the second part of the story,
which was started in “Hilda and the Princess”. After the first part was often described as a feminist fairy tale, the second part is more dedicated to topics such as sustainability and environmental protection. But again without moral pointing fingers, but with a lot of humor!

Available in German or French

32 pages, ages 4 and up, 22 x 29 cm

Eva Rust studied scientific illustration and has been a freelance, not-so-scientific illustrator ever since. However, she still enjoys being inspired by the animal and plant world in her work.
