The time is ripe for our own dance of death.
The pandemic prompted us to deal with the complexity, the tragedy, but also the comedy of the topic. The Dance of Death first appeared in the 14th century, and the connection to the plague of the time, the "Black Death", was very strong: the plague made no distinction between a beggar and a nobleman. Today we are learning that nothing has changed and a disease doesn't care where you come from, what you do, who you are. We focused on another aspect of death - the dying of abstract things. Every idea has an expiry date, and all ideals eventually die.
