Four-color screenprint, A5, limited edition of 50 pcs., printed in the Shining Laboratory, Berlin, signed and numbered

Andrea Peter is an illustrator from Bern, CH. She draws children's books, for exhibitions and magazines, creates posters, flyers and CD covers and every now and then a hidden object.

Supposedly everyday observations and themes are a great source of inspiration for her. Ideas also mature on visual excursions into the animal and plant kingdoms. And last but not least, playing with the drawing itself helps her to find new ways of designing again and again. She is as enthusiastic about the analogue as she is about the digital. Ink, pencil, gouache, screen and lino printing are among her preferred techniques.

She is part of the Atelier Flora in Berlin, which she joined after her studies and with which she has already realized several book projects.

In cooperation with (art) schools and museums, Andrea Peter designs and teaches projects with children and adults. In addition, he teaches at the School of Design in Bern and at the University of Education in Zurich (art and design).
